New Master’s Scholarship!

1891 Financial Life has now expanded our Scholarship Program to include a Master's Scholarship! The Master’s Scholarship is available to members who have completed their undergraduate education and will now be completing a Master's degree program. This scholarship may also be used for nursing, veterinary, health degrees, etc.
The Master's Scholarship awards $1,000 a year up to a total of $2,000. Applicants must apply each year.
Other scholarship opportunities include:
College Scholarship
• Student completing an undergraduate degree.
• $1,000 a year up to $4,000 total – Applicants must apply each year.
Occupational Training Scholarship
• High school seniors or adults pursuing a technical or vocational training program.
• $500 a year up to $1,000 total – Applicants must apply each year.
An applicant for a scholarship must be a beneficial member of 1891 Financial Life two full years by the application deadline. Certificates must be inforce and active. To apply for a scholarship, members send in an application form each scholarship year.
The deadline for applying for a scholarship has been extended to May 1, 2023, to allow more time for applicants to learn about the enhancements to the scholarship program and apply.
An independent committee, made up of educators, choose the winners of all scholarships. No officer or member of 1891 Financial Life has any jurisdiction over the selection of recipients.
